Como

Como is simply beautiful, seen from any side: by strolling along its historical centre, from the lake shore and  from Brunate, on the top of the mountain, after a funicular ride.

Como is close: you can reach the town in less than ten minutes by boat (the pier is just around the corner!).
Como has the relaxed rhythm of a small town with its tea-rooms, pastry shops, boutiques and art exhibitions, but it also offers the services of a big urban centre, when required.

Last, but not least, the lake and the green areas give that sense of peace you need so much when you are on a business trip.
